AMG Ltd has been working on a number of Research Projects. Our biggest research project to date was with a joint R&D project with HR Wallingford and Agencia Catalunya de l'Agua. The field research was conducted in Wraysbury Reservoir, which is owned by Thames Water and Foix Reservoir managed by Agencia Catalunya de l'Agua. Both field trials were performed in April to October 2001 and 2002. The results of both of these field tests are recorded and commented upon in the H R Wallingford Report dated May 2003. Please click here to see the Executive Summary, Introduction and Contents Page. Since then, AMG Ltd successfully installed three Aquaerator systems into Reservoirs in the UK. Primarily we have been focussing on Bristol Water PLC, which is actually very local to us. Thus it was particularly important to ensure that the installations and commissioning were completed quickly and competently. We attended our first Environmental Technology exhibition at the NEC Exhibition Hall, Birmingham in May 2006, which turned out to be an excellent way of talking to clients on an informal basis. We are going to attend the International Water and Effluent Exhibition (IWEX) on May 1st to 3rd May 2007 and as part of the British Water Pavilion and look forward to welcoming everybody onto our stand. AMG Ltd had a very busy year in 2006. An 'AQUAERATION' system was installed and commissioned on behalf of Doncaster Metropolitan Borough Council. The system was put into the brand new development on the outskirts of Doncaster called 'Lakeside'. We are carrying out a scientific analysis of the Lakeside water body. Please click here. This shows the level of stratification in the lake. Please note that the Dissolved Oxygen percentage was as low as 5% in the bottom waters. It is quite normal for fish to die at Lakeside. Once the system was installed, AMG Ltd undertook further sampling and the results show a massive improvement. Please click here. After completing the second set of results the Dissolved Oxygen had increased to around 100% even in the bottom waters. Further results will be obtained during the summer 2007. We are currently investigating the possibility of adapting our AQUAERATOR to be used in Waste Water Treatment, the commercial fish farming industry and would be pleased to hear from any suitable R&D establishments who would be able to help us.
